My wife has always wanted a horse. It’s very expensive and I’d need a barn first and we’re getting older. She’s still considering a minature. I told her about my plan for free range veal. She’s not opposed. Barn should be going up next year.

Well, of course so did I, but when first married, we couldn’t afford it. Later, the kids got older and interested in riding, so we did it till they all grew up and moved away.
Then I really didn’t have the time and hubby had no interest. I had some weakened bones, so it seemed best to sell. I did give my oldest grand daughter the choice of the herd, and she took Diablo. My niece wanted Poco Loco. The rest went to people we knew would treat them well.
