Google says Italy has a 60 million population

I dont believe there are only 1500 non transfusion people in Italy. Maybe they were talking about just the Northern Region.

if you have Lymphoblastic leukemia you can get a one shot deal for 1/2 million dollars...but if you have beta thalassemia it is going to cost 1.8 million dollars. OMG..that is insane
