What is the sop for a citizens arrest, would they follow him across town if he was driving, or riding a bike? Attacking someones firearm at close distance isn’t always wise, nor unreasonable if one thinks they are being threatened.

That's all fine and good, but I'm referring to the actual shooting event. It was clear the descendant ran right at the person with the gun and attempted to physically disarm him.

Do you think that's the normal response for someone out for an innocent jog? I don't think so.
