True science can be confirmed by math.
No math, no science.
Political science is sociology of political systems.
Biology is still being proven as a science (the human condition is the wildcard).
My criteria about what = science is less rigid & biased.
Anything that can be counted with significant rigor, consistent criteria, balanced perspective, objectivity, proper data collection, proper analyses, proper interpretation etc. is fittingly called science.
Even measuring things with a micrometer, a laser or whatever “hard scientific instrument” has been documented to include a measure of SUBJECTIVITY & OBSERVER PROBLEM.
The whole issue of IS ANYTHING TRULY OBJECTIVE is an interesting “scientific” discussion.
I’ve long thought that “hard scientists’ “ smugness was an arrogant farce due to their tunnel visioned myopia & self-aggrandizing elitism.
