Surfers ride bioluminescent waves off California coast ByBen Hooper
April 30 (UPI) -- Surfers off the California coast were caught on camera taking advantage of bioluminescence in the water by riding the neon blue waves after dark.
Surfers were recorded off the coast of San Diego and elsewhere in southern California riding the waves amid unusually bright bioluminescence in the ocean.
The phenomenon, caused by algae in the water, made it appear as though the surfers were riding glowing blue waves.
Residents said the bioluminescence has been unusually bright recently. A pod of dolphins was caught on video last week appearing to glow under water off Newport Beach.
Cool.
Gavin Newsom is not pleased...
In other words, surfers ride algae waves off California coast
And they weren’t arrested?
Global warming. Trump’s fault.
Darn, it said when I tried that the video was taken down.
It’s still working for me.
Nobody paddled out there and arrested them??
I always loved the story about the astronaut Jim Lovell when he was a Navy pilot in Korea, and one night as he was flying back to the USS Shangri-La in his F2H Banshee, he lost his instruments.
No radio, no flight control, pitch black trying to find a carrier.
Then he saw a phosphorescent highway from the screws of the carrier, and just followed it in to a safe landing.
Amazing.
You might have it cached, but trying again
It wasn’t taken down. It just might not work on the browser you’re using.

Sorry I’m too dumb to make it a link, but paste it into your browser. It’s the facebook link, which is still working.
“Cool.”
LOL! Shark-bait.
And that appears to be the issue in this case-I had to enable "Third Party Tracking" in my browser (Safari)
I don't think it is something on my computer-I think something has been activated (in my damned blue state) that prevents users from NOT allowing third party cookie tracking.
Google started throwing up Captcha challenges, my bank program stopped working, and a few other things. Then this.
When I enabled third party cooking tracking, it worked.
Amazing video,by the way.
It was something here. I use Verizion, and there has been much talk about using internet traffic to track users. (Yeah, Verizon is extraordinarily Leftist, and I live in a blue state...)
If that is somehow related, I would not even be able to even assume my “This is my surprised look” face.
Thank you very much-I was able to get through by enabling a security setting on my browser I have always had disabled, since day one. I think something is afoot with that.
Way cool dude! Gnarly glowing waves are rad man!
Nature is amazing!
