But not all people can create equal amounts of anti-bodies. Those who are younger, and those who exercise regularly, and those who eat nutritious food, and those who dont smoke or drink more than 1 drink a day, or those who get enough sleep every day, can create sufficient anti-bodies to vanquish most invading viruses, INCLUDING COVID-19.
The importance of our own bodys immunity and how to strengthen it is what we should be hearing from the media over and over. Unfortunately, I dont hear this from any media.
As long as Americans eat a diet of processed food, especially junk food, theres not much hope that those people will have a very strong immune system. Telling people to stay indoors in a totally disinfected environment, where there is very little likelihood of exercise and certainly no fresh air or natural vitamin D, is also harmful.
Many people seem to have bought into the idea that they can live very unhealthy lives, even be obese as are 36% of all American adults, and then a pill or a medical procedure will save them. COVID-19 is probably here to stay for a long time. Each person needs to do the best possible he can to build up his own immune system.
Yes all the hoopla in media has been about Ventilators, PPE, testing, deaths, vaccines, etc.
Not much at all about PREVENTION, which is not all that difficult. I am a living proof of prevention. My crowded cruise with all oriental service staff ended on Feb 29th. And I have shopped in grocery stores every week since return from cruise. And filled gas in cars touching dirtiest place in town, the gasoline dispenser. And I have accompanied wife every 3 weeks to the cancer clinic for chemo and to sit in with her doctor appointment, and picked up food from restaurants. But good prevention tactics are saving my 80 year old body. No symptoms, no testing, just washing hands with soap many times a day.
By the way I exercise daily outdoors every morning because the community gym is closed until further notice.
