I’ve been feeling poorly, nagging dry cough, terrible (really bad) nausea, pink eye started, some chest pain, unexplained and very uncharacteristic red rash on left ankle, tiredness. On the plus side, good blood O2, no breathing trouble and no lung congestion. I figured I might have it, so talked to emergency doc yesterday. He said if I had it, there’s nothing that can be done so go home and rest ; call us if it gets worse.

I was shocked by that response. I mentioned the East Virginia Medical School recommended protocol for various stages of CV (HCQ, Az, Zn) and it was as though he hadn’t heard of it. That was discouraging, to say the least.

Feeling quite a bit better today. Seems like my annual bout of bronchitis or maybe severe allergies.

The attitudes you talk about may explain why the US - unlike virtually every European country following similar social-distancing protocols - has not seen a drop in CV deaths. Most countries saw a steady rise in deaths, a peak of about a week, followed by a steady decline (albeit with occasional up-ticks). Their graphs look like mountains - up, then down.

On the other hand, the US saw a steady rise, followed by a plateau that is now more than a month long. Every time we see a drop for a couple of days, it bounces right back up. It's doing it again today, dammit.

Did you ask the ER doc about putting you on the 3 drug cocktail that has good results when started at the first signs of this covid thing?

See the post above about “artemisia, aka sweet wormwood”

I have RA and so also have hydroxychloroquine but I am at sea on a ship (I’m lucky, working, not laid off and not in quarantine.) But I have been ordering other things for my family and this item was the last thing I ordered online.

Earlier I had ordered Quercetin with Bromelain because it Quercetin is also a zinc ionosphere, but lately I have been concerned about how this virus attacks hemoglobin in a similar way malaria does so an anti-malaria drug that is a zinc ionosphere would be a better choice if in fact hydroxychloroquine fights the effects of the virus directly. So maybe this artemisia is a good choice, or maybe it will do nothing, but it is sold over the counter so is probably safe.

I’m praying for you.
