I posted another thread a couple weeks ago for a charity that has become near and dear to my heart. Unfortunately, Gretchen Smith's success with running Code of Vets (COV) has just increased demand with each success.
In the past several weeks, her charity has joined forces with legendary country music star and Christian, Charlie Daniels @charliedaniels.
COV recently had a push to raise $50k in one day and did it!! Unfortunately the demand is up to $100k. Based on their Twitter @codeofvets account, the average request is around $1k and it's for food, utilities and rent.
Even if it's $5, every little bit helps. Their PayPal account is https://paypal.me/codeofvets and $0.99 of every dollar goes to vets!! That's almost unheard of for a charity.

When my company's United Way drive occurs, I'll be directing my donations to COV. They are a 501 (c) 3 charity (32-0582177) and can be verified.

Her mom posted a Tweet that they almost lost her to cancer (leukemia??) when she was 4/5 years old and husband recently lost his job & she doesn’t draw a salary from COV.
I believe this picture is from her state loosening up restaurants.
