To: DUMBGRUNT

I realize the post is geared toward an apparent lack of intelligence on the part of the wearer. However-

Think about it. If you are only wearing the mask because of an ordinance that says you have to in order to enter a store/job/office and don’t really think it protects you (as stated by the Surgeon General)- why wouldn’t you open a hole in it to breath better.

“Technically” you are following the law.

If the girl were infected, it could conceivably be “attempted assault” by overzealous law enforcement. Though I don’t think it would stick, the girl doesn’t seem bright enough to “form intent” for much of anything.

A minor technical disagreement.

IMO the main benefit is not to the wearer, but others in the event of a sneeze or cough, to semi-contain it.

Having worked in a laboratory for many years and occasionally wearing particle masks, n95... Scott air pak and attending endless classes on how to wear them...
Few are ever a ‘proper fit’.
