LOL take a walk! I have been walking all over my township since March 16. Our county is going to be the last to open in PA due to NYC. We also do not know when hair salons will open. It’s awful!

Is a real, legit news site saying this, or only a right wing blog like dailyconservative?

60% of Americans have compromised immune systems? No, most are scared snowflakes.

Only place I get to go to these days is the grocery store and it is more crowded than when I went pre-CV.

The virus doesn’t care if you are buying milk or looking at books in a library or store or getting a haircut.

the lockdown isn’t about virus transmission. Originally they said it was only to limit the spread, now they don’t care about overwhelming hospitals (which never got overwhelmed). They just want to keep people locked down because they can.

Any business model that requires a large number of spectators in close proximity is going to have problems. This includes mass transit in all forms. (Will we ever see compartments again, like the one on early 20th century trains?)

This is nothing new. People with colds and flu could spread their illness by attending such events, and no one blinked an eye. Just as dying in auto, train, and plane accidents is "unfortunate" but not enough to shut down the service.

As far as the motion picture theaters, no thank you. My experience in the typical theater was marred by the patrons who keep talking, popping their chewing gum. and kicking the back of the seat in front of them. Add to that the elimination of the intermission (which I recall fondly when I saw 2001 A Space Odyssey years ago) the prep work for an evening at the movies is more than I can take. Not to mention the $50-60 tab. I have a big screen 4K TV, and use headphones in deference to my upstairs neighbors.

I haven’t been to a concert in over 35 years or a movie in almost 20 years.

I would have avoided crowded venues without a stay in place order. I will avoid them until I feel comfortable.

People will go back to normal in states where they are allowed to go back to normal.

I guess they’d better hurry up with that vaccine then, because I have tickets to see Ted Nugent at the end of July.

As a rule I avoid crowds, virus or no virus. I just don’t like crowds.

People will go back to normal.

This is the most “abnormal” thing I have witnessed in my 5 decades of life and it is not yet over. The damage to our economy is going to take a long time to unwind and every week we delay re-opening is going to add a much longer time to recover. We also need to recognize that the left in our nation is going to squeeze this event for every drop of partisanship they can find in this election season. They will use it for every advantage and it will be ugly.

I think many of us will return to whatever our “normal” was before, but I do not think it will be this year. The virus will run its course, but the damage to our economy will be far more difficult to repair. The virus that occupies our body politic will NOT fix itself anytime soon because the left does not want to fix it.

The totalitarian state has found their new battle cry and they will not surrender it easily.

About 400% too many CGI garbage movies made anyway, so this just culls the herd.

Actually, I’ve been walking daily for the last 3-4 weeks and my weight has remained the same - perhaps lost a couple of lbs - since the closing of LAF.

In addition to the exercise, just getting sunshine has been quite uplifting and helped to kill that Chinese virus.

In my 20s and early 30s, I ran 25-30 miles a week...until my shins said “no mas”. Walking certainly helps...but I’ll be glad to get back to a HIIT program on an elliptical 5-6 days a week.

More lies. I have yet to know ANYONE who knows anyone with the virus. I will live my life like normal, as soon as this facist new government lets me. Planning on going to sports bar tonight to eat. May 4th opening, 50% capacity. I expect a huge line, I’ll wait...can’t wait. And I will not wear the optional face mask.

I'm like that too. I have some sort of instinctual negative reaction to being in large crowds of people. A form of claustrophobia I guess.
