My thought(no I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn) is that this will end up being another seasonal malady. Possibly worse than some but treatable. As far as vaccine? I don’t do them anyway.

A lot of people - especially Democrats - have been traumatized by government and media hysteria over an illness that is still not as severe as the 2017-2018 flu season. Those people will have resulting psychological issues and fears that will last for years. There should be massive legal and financial consequences for the politicians and the media fear-mongers who have done this to us.

On what do you base that assertion?

I’ve been hearing quite the opposite for decades.

Trump has to know that he’s been played here!”

Sadly, I don’t think he does. I watched his town hall last night and he is still totally all in on the Dr Doom and Deborah show. He even referred to Fauci by his first name.
It was depressing. Fauci and Deborah were completely wrong or worse and Trump didn’t even seem to notice. I was hoping for an emphasis on re-opening and Trump calling out these rat Governors slow walking to keep the economy down. What we got was platitudes and vague general answers to specific questions. Not what I was hoping for that’s for sure.

I was speaking with our pediatrician when our kids were young and this was 45 or more years ago and I recall he said something about how tough and resilient young are. I guess I took this to mean they their immunity is greater.

If I am wrong perhaps I either misheard him or came to the wrong conclusion.

Cut the welfare, and they’ll go back to work.

I bet a good part of that 40% are planning to use the plandemic as an excuse to avoid work.

Same at the Scheels Sporting Goods, they were lined up around the building to get in; here at the apts pool is closed but dozens were out there sitting beside each other on the lounge chairs or at the poolside

No fear here. Mostly a disruption to our normal routine. Butt no doubt the appointment books of the psych counselors are filling up rather quickly.

Snowflakes will surely look for ‘safe places’ to coddle in. Americans will live life to the fullest.

Fear is a powerful thing.... enough to keep people from achieving goals and living their best lives. It feeds stagnation. Many people are living in the self-made prisons of their own fears to begin with so their fear of getting this virus will just be added to it.

A heavy dose of courage and faith is then needed for those who are overly concerned...also the need to know that God well knows where every single droplet of this virus is....who is carrying it and who will get it. So best to trust the Lord .

Recalling Jesus asked Peter to step out on the water in a storm.....this storm has passed in most areas and others only skirted their communities. It's time to get out of the Boat.
