in this very very long scientific article using Medcrams buzzwords...i scroll to get to the chase..in other words..give me a solution.
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2213231715000907

So your blood could go through this if you get Wuhan Flu.
The cut to the chase is:

Sounds like take some vitamins and perhaps plasma therapy

“In addition, several antioxidant enzymes (e.g. SOD, catalase) and molecules (e.g. GSH, vitamin E and C) function within RBCs to neutralise the different reactive oxygen species. These mechanisms play a role in reducing oxidative stress during normal erythropoiesis but are deregulated or overwhelmed in disease.

Protective mechanisms are also functioning in the circulation. Haptoglobin and haemopexin can scavenge free Hb and haeme respectively and are subsequently endocytosed by macrophages. However, in the case of increased haemolysis, haptoglobin and haemopexin become rapidly overwhelmed. Upon entering the cell, haeme drives the expression of HO-1, which is the rate limiting enzyme for the degradation of haeme, and ferritin, which takes up the released iron to prevent its oxidative reactions.”

Interesting that China didn’t call their citizens back home like the rest of the world has done.

Who’s side were they researching for?

Here is an interesting hypothesis with authors suggesting further study. Some of the comments bash the hypothesis

COVID-19: Beta-Thalassemia Subjects Immunised?
https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/202004.0349/v1

” In this study, by a multiple linear regression, we have analyzed the evolution of COVID-19 infection in three Italian regions (Puglia, Sardinia, Sicilia) with different beta-thalassemic prevalences, in order to search a link. The results have showed that betathalassemic heterozygote population prevalence is correlated to immunity against COVID-19, by a regression. This paper is only for academic discussion, the hypotheses and conclusions needs to be confirmed by further research .”

The first thing you have to determine is does Wuhan Flu really do a heme attack on the 1 beta chain of hemoglobin

Someone here theorized that I might actually be able to be handle Covid-19 because my body is use to what Covid-19 does to you. I would be THRILLED if that is the case...but I still wore two masks and goggles when I had to go to the store today...
