One of my favorites from ELO.

Some ELO songs, especially Mr. Blue Sky, have a Beatlesque sound.

Here is a very early ELO song which sounds a lot like Eleanor Rigby.

ELO-“Look At Me Now”

“Mr. Blue Sky” is probably my favorite ELO song.

They definitely meant to prolong the Beatles sound, Telephone Line is probably my favorite.

Did you know Jeff Lynn produced a solo album for three out of four of the Beatles? George, Paul and Ringo.

I stumbled across this several months ago, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBZpc4s6ATA

Live from their 2001 comeback tour and they do an unbelievable job. Also, many have stumbled across it and watched the whole thing just because of the backup singer:) (Who he had a thing with for a while)

The newer songs are a little odd. Country music with the Jeff Lynn sound. ???

Also produced Bryan Adams, Traveling Wilbury’s, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison. Quite the prolific producer, self taught.
