American business will always find a a way if given a chance and the govt stays out of the way.
Many restaurants here in New Mexico are selling raw foods/groceries as well as take out. Weve bought ground beef and ribeyes from a local restaurant fairly cheap. Freezing them for later. Keeps their supply chain going too. Theyve even given us free potatoes and loaves of homemade bread.
Beef is still high here (Oregon), but local store has 20# pork butts at $1.29/lb. Pendleton, OR processors has taken over the bacon slot and has 3lb packs on sale.
I’ve been watching BBQ Pittmasters on TV and will probably buy a couple of those slabs of pork.
Sounds like a godsend for those who like illegal raw milk.
