Red Cross Faulted on Tainted-Blood Reports
****************************************************************************
OK now—I am remembering the tainted blood scandal that was traced to Arkansas prisons. Big Donor for The Toon got the contract and allowed prisoners to implement the program. The prisoners got paid for each donation.

The other prisoners just pretended the blood was tested ok. That tainted blood went to several other countries, because it was already illegal to distribute prison blood in USA.

The health authorities shut it down, and Big Donor just started a new organization with different name and The TOON awarded the contract to them again.

Books were written. Canadian Investigators came to Washington DC during his stint in office, and the press simply did not cover it. But the Toronto Sun did.

*sigh*

From 2013. Not related to the Red Cross, but it's the thought that counts. Or should I say "the strategy"?

How the CIA’s Fake Vaccination Campaign Endangers Us All

The U.S. was wrong to use health workers to target Osama bin Laden

In its zeal to identify bin Laden or his family, the CIA used a sham hepatitis B vaccination project to collect DNA in the neighborhood where he was hiding. The effort apparently failed, but the violation of trust threatens to set back global public health efforts by decades.
