Could be a hopeful sign that a lot of regular Californians have just about had it with totalitarianism. Maybe even some who previously trended left are beginning to wake up.

Obviously it would be folly to expect a 180 degree turn by everyone, but the idea that anyone would even protest at all in CA, much less by the thousands and thousands, is impressive. Every movement has to start somewhere.

There are a lot more Rs in Ca than you realize. They are just outvoted by the masses in LA, SF areas. The same goes for many other states that are liberal. The big cities have the voting power to keep it liberal while destroying those that are keeping their state actually running.
