I always loved the BUFF. Such a workhorse. In 1972, when I was in USAFSS (back in those days that was USAF Intelligence), we identified targets for the Linebacker bombings. The BUFF and the F105 and even a few F-111s were “up and at ‘em.” The US Navy deployed A6s and A7s, if I recall.
