If you’re not eating raw meat, you’re fine.
there is a lot of prepping before meat goes into a pan
If you haven’t sterilized the outside of the wrappings/plastic, you have it on your hands and counter until you sterilize those (adequately, takes more to kill this than e. coli).
It’s also in your garbage can/bag when you throw all that away.
And also on your refrigerator shelves and anything else the package touched.
