LAKE ORION, Mich. Canterbury Village is postponing drive-in movies that were scheduled this week and next week.
The postponement announcement was posted to the Canterbury Village Facebook page with the message that the governor just shut us down.
According to the post, the governor halted the event...
Keith Aldridge, who owns Canterbury Village, said there were plans in place to make the drive-in safe and socially distanced.
We were limiting the amount of cars. Every car would get a 20-by-20 spot. You could listen to the movie on your FM radio and we decided against trying to do concessions," he said.
The idea was so popular multiple days sold out almost immediately. (more at link)

Its like the Barry-cades when Obama shut the govt and built obstacles in front of public outdoor landmarks.
Gonna take this away from you!
Drunk on power

Agreed.
The Karenfuhrer strikes again!
>> They are only interested in POWER AND CONTROL!
Yup
Do it anyway. Resist now in large groups.
This has nothing to do with the virus that everything to do with a governor who hates the idea that anybody isn’t doing exactly what she tells them to
Yeah, I’m sure this U of M & NFL tight end wasn’t in the greatest of shape either (/s).

But I have noticed in looking at statistics than anyone obese or hypertension have a much more likely chance of being hospitalized. I’m sure there aren’t many people with those “underlying diseases”.

It’s pretty simple. Take it seriously enough to realize that putting on a mask and keeping hand sanitizer handy isn’t “infringing on your rights”. It’s simple smart common sense.
The weather is getting nice finally and more and more people are just going to tell the Governor to drop dead and do what they want.

Dang now I heard it all...I’ve tried to give our governor the benefit of the doubt..Why?
How much closer can we get to rope and lamp post time?
The Karenführer strikes back
It’s one thing to mitigate a disease sensibly, it’s another to be stupid about it. This governor is stupid. Pritzker in IL hasn’t been much better, so far.
The people who set up the theater should do a You Tube vid and call it “This is tyranny”. Maybe Fox would even cover it? Hannity probably would, to get the ball rolling.
The resistance is growing everywhere.
Bitchmer
“Cruella de Avila”
Ha!
Cruella de Whitmer..?
She’s a totalitarian wannabee...
