Chances are that this is a completely normal procedure.
Chances are that this is a completely normal procedure.

BINGO!
It absolutely is. In fact, its the law.
It clearly states "in accordance with the Presidential Transition Act." So, the Trump administration is adhering to law.
“Chances are that this is a completely normal procedure.”
Like FraudCo did in April 2012, to prepare for a transition to Romney?
Where is that article again?
That’s what I’m thinking.
It is a completely normal and legally required procedure.
My 1st thought and is probably some type of written rule not just a SOP
This comes out of an amendment of the Presidential Transition Act of 1963 that was passed in 2016. Obama got his transition team going in March, 2016:
“...Congress has now passed two new laws codifying the responsibilities of the Obama administration to prepare the government for new leadership. In March, Obama signed legislation requiring the government to set up transition councils, identify agency leaders responsible for transition planning, and to make sure that career civil servants are ready to step in for the hundreds of political appointees who are expected to leave the government before the First Family does.”
(Of course, Obama was at the same time treasonously doing the most to sabotage an incoming candidate/president ever done in history.)
“in accordance with the Presidential Transition Act” Yep required to do so. Clinton staffers used this time to remove the W keys from white House keyboards ;-)
