If you want on or off this list, please let me know.
the little beasts can’t quite form what we know of as ‘meow’; it’s more like a simplistic ‘eeew’...I’d love to hold a tiny kitten in the palm of my hand again...
That’s a big kitty.
When we adopted Aristotle and Confucius (brother-sister pair) at 6 weeks, we could fit them in our hands. They were just barely weaned, didn’t know/speak cat.
Of all the cats we adopted, Arie was the smartest of them all. You throw some cat treats in the cat puzzle box, and they are supposed to figure out how to get the treats out. Arie solved it by turning the box upside down so all the treats fell out the first time. He’s so smart, he devoted all his smartness being bad, a smartypants cat.
He was as healthy and problem-free (health-wise) as can be, until at age 15, then developed lymphoma (stomach lining), barely 8 -9 months later, he’s dead.
He was so attached to me, I still remember when he was just barely fit in my hands and missed my little buddy.(well, he’s not that little any more).
His sister Fucia is still alive and kicking. I will tell her story some other time.
