Stocks of hand sanitizer, Lysol and Clorox wipes won't return to normal until AUGUST, supply chain experts predict

Bleach is about 4-5% sodium hypochlorite.
Swimming pool liquid chlorine is 10% sodium hypochlorite.
Same chemical, twice as strong at half the price and easily obtainable.
Just dilute it half-half with water.

It’s understandable. Manufacturers plan their output based on expected demand. The current high demand for hand sanitizer, Lysol, and Clorox is not going to last so it makes no business sense to invest in greater capacity when it will not be needed in the near future. They are not doubt manufacturing as much as they can and that’s all they can do.

I heard Betsy McCaughey, MD (Former Lt. Governor of NY, destroyer of Hillarycare) on Hannity a couple of weeks ago, she specifically said no when someone asked the same question.

Clorox or alcohol were her recommendations.

I can survive until August without Clorox. Toilet paper, on the other hand,....

I lucked out. Bought supply of Clorox Wipes for daughter at Christmas. But everyone was sick with colds so it sat in my car. She was at my home on Feb 28th for my cataract surgery...and I gave her the 4 cans 78 sheet of Clorox wipes and kept one for myself. How's that for luck.

I keep some in my car in a plastic bag and wipe my hands and steering wheel.

Decided to leave my cotton mask on the dash so the sun and heat can bake it.

You can find bleach at Dollar Tree....sometimes peroxide.

You’re right, 8.2% in concentrated form, in any event makers wore found in many locations before but there were packagers selling the 2% variety.

I think it’s more of a placebo, to make people feel like they’re contributing to their health. If people want to be safe, then stay away from extended contact with others, if indoors without face masks being worn. You can wash or ‘sanitize’ your hands 50 times a day, but hang out with a vector, with stagnant air, and you’re toast anyway.

Turns out my wife had stuck these all over the house years ago, every time I did around in some closet, I find another tub of lysol or clorox wipes.
