You opined, “but we’re special and bad things won’t happen to us, right?” Your effort atscoffing aside, do you not know that Christians in other parts of the world are being persecuted and martyred? Nothing in scripture tells us we will not see persecution, BUT we are assured in many passages that we are not appointed to the wrath that will begin after a certain pact is signed by Israel and intensifies to the point antiChrists presents himself in the Holy place in the Jewish Temple and proclaims himself god. THEN the Great Tribulation will be poured out upon the world. But we are assured we the Bride of Christ will not be here for that horror.
