The problem with that is if you’re a carrier with no symptoms and don’t know it, or maybe you do and don’t care like Typhoid Mary. I worked with several people who were carriers of stress and spread it around even though they seemed asymptomatic.
But I don’t like the lock down either.
I believe you are not responsible for my health, I am. Likewise, I am not responsible for your health, you are. Take whatever measures you feel necessary and I will do the same. 243 1/2 years was a long time to be free.
We are all carriers of something. We are all risks to other people.
We don’t stop living.
If you happen to be one of those that are at a higher risk of succumbing to more serious infection, you protect yourself. Stop inflicting your weakness on those around you. Let them get on with their lives.

If people are worried, they need to stay home. Which still might not work, things have to be delivered by someone.
I’m 71. I’m out most every day. But I distance myself from others. I’m fine so far, and I endanger no one except my wife, who does the same thing and is fine also.
