Did you spend it?
Did you put it in the bank?
Did you help someone out?
I did, already. You really should read ALL the post.
Well, since we lost our business and its looking like we will lose further business throughout the summer...the Helicopter money was well received.
I did buy some extra meat....hamburger at $4 a pound....insanity....
still unstimulated
we didn’t get the full amount either....:(
I owed $800 more in 2019 taxes and had to pay $2800 first quarter 2020 taxes, with the second quarter payment due in 6 weeks. Customers ordering NOTHING. So I am basically handing it right back to the government to keep them off my back.
I saved money from last year, so I am good for a few months, but don’t know if I will even have a livelihood when the boot is lifted from our collective necks.
Hamburger at $4 lb?
That would be a steal around here right now.
Here is the place to send your $$$ back to the Govt, if you don’t need or want it!!
There are two ways for you to make a contribution to reduce the debt:
At Pay.gov, you can contribute online by credit card, debit card, PayPal, checking account, or savings account.
You can write a check payable to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, and, in the memo section, notate that it’s a gift to reduce the debt held by the public. Mail your check to:
Attn Dept G
Bureau of the Fiscal Service
P. O. Box 2188
Parkersburg, WV 26106-2188
Nope, and I dont intend to, but as long as you are happy suckling at the government teat while proclaiming your conservatism, that is fine
So cheap! I haven’t seen hamburger at that price in many years. I think it is around $7/lb for the cheap grind and it goes up to about $11/lb for the good stuff.
You make us sound like Venezuela...Oh wait, how much do we owe again?
Put it in the credit union account I use for paying my property taxes.
Where the heck is it that expensive?
Property taxes: has anyone noticed that states politicians are doing nothing- if States wanted to give relief to small business they could give property tax relief as even if the business doesn’t own their property there landlord does and it is the #1 reason landlords can’t ease up on rent.
For those of you who don’t do direct deposit, have you received it yet? I haven’t :(.
Fortunate enough to still be working (at home) with OT. Will take the check & OT to buy some fractional gold and silver.
Also, a wheel cart and gong so I can do my favorite Monty Python skit. /s
Did you put it in the bank? Affirmative.
Social Security checks never stopped so this was just sugar.
Rent.
Still waiting on it.
Nothing fun.
Just hoping for enough to hang on for a little while longer.
The last year we’ve been knocked down by his hip break and heart attacks.
Dogs have food and that’s about as “prepped” and wild as it gets.
Even if the lockdown ends tomorrow, the little bit of increased interest in our home business will be gone.
People who buy our trike kits are either handicapped or veterans.
They’ll be broke, too.
