One of President Trump's economic advisers has an admittedly "crazy" idea for how to reopen the country amid the coronavirus pandemic: space outfits.
Stephen Moore, a member of Trump's economic task force, spoke to The New York Times this week about restarting the U.S. economy, saying he's been advising the president about how "we have to really get things opened" as soon as May 1st. But how are states to send people back to work in a safe way that doesn't endanger public health? Moore offered a bit of an ... out of the box ... suggestion.
"I was thinking this morning, and this is just kind of a thought experiment because I was thinking about this why don't we just put everybody in a space outfit or something like that?" Moore asked. "No. Seriously."
Sarcasm???
Everybody is entitled to at least one Wild & Crazy utopian dream during their working lifetime.
This may be Steve’s.
Sarcasm: a method the media distorts for their profit.
He said it was a thought experiment.
Of course the Fake News Loosers will frame this as anti -science.

Ive said that everyone should wear Chewbacca costumes its not only safe but super cute
I refuse to walk around looking like Michelle Obama.
Or does Israel have a stockpile they're almost ready to ship lie the vaccine they said they were only a couple weeks away from having ready?

Those were the hokiest suits I ever saw. Besides, they didn’t help Joey Tormolen.
Twice, we have gone for long rides and walks, We bring PPE in case it becomes necessary to be in contact with others. Where we hiked, I doubt there was another human within a mile.
When I go to the dump, it is easy to distance the way it is set up, paying attention to wind and direction of wind, so I just wear gloves.
For the grocery store I wear pretty much the equivalent of full NBC gear. Gas mask, Tyvek suit, gloves, boots. Load the groceries into a trailer, NOT the vehicle.
Do full decon of groceries. Remove PPE carefully as one would in any bio, chem, nuclear situation. Set it in trailer or an other vehicle for a week.
No matter if intentional or not, this is, in effect, bio warfare. Every American should have been trained in this and have gear or have it available.
There would have been no need to lock down the country if everyone was equipped and had the knowledge to deal with it.
Here's one of the videos a doctor did on how to decon your groceries, or anything else you bring into your home. We take it one step further, have a decon table set up outside.

“OK, not everyone hits it out of the park every time”.......
How about Idiots Need to be Shitcanned!!! The Very Last Thing we need is Braindead Stupid on public display. Many of us have random thoughts. Most of us have far more sense than to voice out loud those Stupid Thoughts.
Doing so disqualifies you. From anything meaningful and important in life. Period. End of discussion.
There is a truism, you can’t fix stupid. That statement is the Poster Child for that Truism.

Any kind of "space suit" would need air circulated inside for keeping the temperature at a comfortable range. Also, new air would have to be brought in from outside the suit, requiring filtration. Running a fan would require a battery pack. Lucky this hazmat suit may have everything you need for 250.95 if you can afford a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) costing over $1000. I see. Juvenile is your modus operandi. Noted.
He’s right in a very general, related thought kind of way. ;)
Maybe not a space suit. But a mask and gloves would be great, if everyone did it instead of crying about being hot or otherwise inconvenienced. Drink plenty of water in hot weather, and have fun. And remember that epidemic masks were invented by our own western culture.
A suit like that is all well and good ... until the urge hits you and you gotta run to the bathroom to drop a deuce.
