Televangelist Jim Bakker said he’s been cut off by credit card companies after he was accused of selling a fake coronavirus cure and asked viewers to send cash or checks or he may have to file for bankruptcy.
“You can’t use credit cards if you do give to our ministry at this time because there’s a situation,” Bakker said on his show this week. He told viewers that the government said, “’You sold products that we didn’t approve of,’ but that’s not what we did.”

I don’t think either one of them were bad people when they started out - they got drawn into the money trap and sex scandals. They should have been happy just hosting a nice show in the morning for an hour or so, as I sez, something for Christian folks and others to tune into when they got up.

I find these nano silver con artists all the time on Facebook. The FDA sent out a bulletin years ago that said such silver products have no clinical proof they cure virus infections. You would be better off taking your 17 mg of zinc in your multivitamin.
People look at frauds like this guy and reject the Christian faith out of hand. He’s doing Satan’s work.
The gonef Swaggart is running re-runs of his 1980’s productions and often with a Spanish interpreter repeating his words. Then it reverts to today with him reading off names, states and dollar amounts that suckers are sending the prick. He looks and sounds like Joe Biden.

It’s possible that his bank/credit card company just reduced his line of credit. I read an article about that recently. Some banks/cc companies are cutting back on credit because of the current situation. They don’t want to be overextended if folks have trouble paying.
But remember that this is the con man Jim Bakker. So it’s also possible that he is having no money problems at all, and he’s just lying again.
