With draft beer sales virtually zeroed out thanks to the mandated closure of on-premise drinking due to the coronavirus pandemic, Charleston area brewers may soon have to dispose of full kegs of beer that have gone stale in distributors warehouses.

Uh oh... next come the jackboots.
They can give it over to the pig farmers. Pigs will drink it down.
WHAT?????????????
Distill it?
With U.S. gasoline consumption so far down, there is a HUGE surplus of ethanol that was destined for mixing with gasoline. I would use that and re-distill it if required to get to 75%. Re-distillation is probably not even required.

“pigs will drink it down”
I am reminded of a particularly foul and disgusting smell that came from a cattle feedlot on my drive to work about once a week.
Come to find out that a local business that made grape jelly (and maybe other flavors) would collect the residual scapings from vats in their process and haul them off for animal consumption.
That led to highly NOXIOUS smells.
That is Alcohol Abuse.

All beers are at their best on the day the keg is filled at the brewery. As days go past the freshness reduces. In general, the fresher your keg draft beer is, the better it tastes. Keg beer will remain fresh if dispensing with CO2, while maintaining the proper temperature and pressure: For non-pasteurized draft beer about 45-60 days. For pasteurized draft beer about 90-120 days.

Yes they will. We get our pot belly pigs drunk on beer to cut their nails. Phoebe is bigger, but three beers and some benadryl and she is calm and wanting to sleep. Sugarbaby takes about 8 beers and a lot more benadryl to make her the same way. Worst part is the hangover the next day. They are both cranky and moody. :)
A crime against humanity!
Is it true that Bacon tastes better if it comes from a Pig raised on Beer?
Just askin’... #;^)
Advertise it at half price . It will be gone tomorrow.
Why not donate it to a homeless shelter? (Long sigh.../s)
Donating it, or selling at 25% of cost may be a tax right off, but at the least would generate more consumers later. Its asinine to dump it.
Pork too, planting season running out of time.Less will be planted. They should have been made to preserve the food for next year.
Our grocery store shelves are nearly bare, chips, soda are still on the shelves, they keep bottled water, and hygiene products, Baby formula is rationed, so are diapers. But no TP, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and food no one wants. Even rice and beans are few. Had to go to the next town over to get a box of Nexium, none on the shelf. Tricare dropped covering them 3 yrs ago. I have to have it.
partner with drive thrus and offer beer to go!
You are a natural born environmentalist.
I brewed a beer once and put to much honey in it.
It was undrinkable until I aged it in the keg for 12 weeks.
I hate making beer and adding anything but barley, water, hops, yeast. Usually turns out wrong.
