If it ends up being the citizens deciding to ignore their government, Trump and company are out of business. Who knows where that could lead.

I am sure that there are many who are fed up just as much as I am. My posting is my own opinion. Several responses to this posting indicate that there are others with similar feelings. Do you honestly think that everyday free American citizens are going to put up with this for much longer than it appears to be necessary? They won't and if they make that decision it is not a good thing for anyone, including Trump, who thinks they have the power to stop them. We have been polite citizens and allowed them to make short term decisions for a specified reason. We accepted that reason as sufficient to obey their wishes. They got what they wanted and now it appears as though they are moving the goal post on us. The people will not be so polite this time over what the people perceive to be "fake" reasons. Fake birth certificate, fake news, fake reasons. What the hell is the difference? Enough is enough.
But post-peak, new daily cases of infection must fall below a certain level so a second surge of victims doesn’t develop.
If we jump the gun with respect to enjoying warmer weather, unless SARS-CoV-2 goes away with the heat like flu does, there could be a second COVID-19 peak worse than the first one.

This nation and the Constitutional framework it is supposed to based upon will forever be trash canned if we accept the premise that it's primary job is to act as our mother and father in protecting us from whatever monster they help invent. I want my healthcare in MY family doctor's hands thank you, not scarf lady and shorty pants hands. Our country is set up on the notion that a free people can best tend to their needs rather than an overbearing federal and state government. We have mistakenly allowed them to sneak into the role they currently are executing over us due to outright lies and distortions from fake models. This will not last.
I wonder if he still thinks that the economy comes roaring back. Say something Mr. President.
In politics, perception is king. Every afternoon now for the past two months, it is Donald Trump people see on their television screens along with the shut-em-down twins scarf lady and shorty pants. The drumbeat of keep it shut down, first to "flatten the curve", then now "to test everyone", has gotten a little stale. He is dangerously close to being perceived as one of them. When they get up and sing shut it down for the umpteenth time, he's starting to look like a back up singer. We did not elect them. We elected him. He needs to handle this as a President, NOT a doctor. A President would never kneecap the governor of Georgia as Trump did.
Those comfortably well off have their hearts broken by their children who lost their livelyhood. Sadness can be a killer.
