The contract to do coronavirus tracking that was given to a Democratic-connect firm in west Michigan, and that has caused a stir of political controversy among GOP leadership, was issued by the state Department of Health and Human Services, not her office, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said Wednesday.
And as soon as she found out about it, “I canceled it,” she said.
In other words she got caught and then “immediately” cancelled.
