It’s the hypocrisy. Back then she was trying to defend AIDS appropriations so it was OK to let a few old people “die of something”. Now it’s the height of insensitivity to say that you can tolerate a certain amount of old people dying in more accelerated fashion because of the aggravating conditions caused by catching Covid-19, that it’s not worth shutting down the whole economy that sustains 300-million people, young and old.
