We own a 36” subzero refrigerator with freezer on bottom. It is two years old.
We have approx the same model as she has, but we opted for a custom front instead of stainless steel. The price of ours was $7,815.
If I recall the stainless steel grill, and front and handle, would probably add about $1,000. So round up to $9,000.
She has two of these units. $24,000 is probably a bit high. But they are expensive and she probably has no idea.
As an aside - they are great refrigerators!
Wrong. I bought one this year. Hers go for at least 15k each. There are 2.
In the coming Great Depression II, I'll buy me one.

Had a squirrel chew through a foundation gap in a house I was selling. It tore down the entire insulation in the basement ceiling. Had insulation six-inches deep laying on the basement floor. Then the little demon tried to chew through new window frames in the 2nd floor bathroom. I found its mummified body wrapped in a curtain it tore down. Squirrels are wretched beasts born in hell.
A squirrel in Nancy’s house wouldn’t be difficult to do. Live trap a half-dozen squirrels. Drill a two-inch hole in the house foundation. Smear hole with peanut butter. Open trap, and let nature take its course.
Custom job easily 25K or more.
I couldn’t buy a used Sub-Zero for $2500.
And yeah it is easy to look up.
Add tax, installation and delivery and it’s $25K.
