You missed the whole point of my post. The DOJ doesnt defend anyone on its own. It will support someone who is taking legal action against a state or local government on their own. The aggrieved person or organization must take the first step.

I was wondering how that works, i.e., getting Barr involved in issues like this. On another thread someone said that he inserted himself into the government harassing churchgoers. Did the churchgoers file a suit that was acted upon so quickly by Barr? I also believed the AG wouldn’t get involved unless a suit existed.
