It’s always been amazing to me how much he managed to do and investigate. To me, he’s always been the most fascinating mind and character among our Founders.

It seems that back then, people had MORE TIME. Time itself seems to have been somehow different, then.

What’s better than a rose on a piano? Tulips on an organ.

I can’t believe that a variation of that joke appeared in St. Elsewhere epi.

Delivered by William Daniels, no less.

I’ve always been fascinated by the Aeolian Harp - a wind-played ‘harp’. There was a gentleman in Connecticut who made them out of dried gourds and other stuff:

I’m not sure he’s still around; but a lot of people have been making all kinds of them, for a long time:

You used to be able to buy them, or kits for them, for your home windows, at places like ‘Lark in the Morning’. But I don’t know where you can buy them anymore.

And I can’t believe that people are messing up my well-meaning thread with self-congratulatory exhibitions of snickering obscenity.

But - Carry On.

I went to an auction there, where the items were some of the belongings of Waylon Jennings.
The Children’s Hospital got 100% of the proceeds.
It was a good time.
I got a couple of treasures.

PDQ Bach had many unusual instruments.
