Did a full McAfee scan yesterday. Had not signed on to FR for a few days. (no jokes)..
Could not copy & paste this 'warning'.
What does it mean? Has anyone else had this?
Thanks
I know you got answer already but for others who have read the updates- the site is the same as it’s always been- just expired Cirt is all- doesn’t mean the site got infected with anything just because the cirt ran out temporarily I don’t think- The warning did make it sound like it was ‘dangerous to proceed to site’, and that passwords and info could be stolen if you did- but again- it’s just the cirt that was expired- no big deal- glitch in update-
kinda like when inspection sticker runs out on car- car still is fine- but just need to renew the sticker-
Sounds like an invalid password.
LOL...But what if I wear a mask while posting?
We ca check on it, but we need you name, SSN, routing number and account number.
Then we will get back to you in a week or so.
(Just kidding.).
Stop using McAfee. Then, you won’t get the warning.
Yes, I had it this morning. Something about the FR site license expired yesterday so the FR site you are trying to load may not be legal or hacked etc. I just went around it to get back on.
I’m getting it too now.

There is an "Advanced button" That allows bypassing the Alert and visiting the dangerous FReeRepublic anyway.
WARNING
You are entering into the safe space that liberals wish they had . . .
What does it say? “It’s the end of the world” or something?
Must have been if you could not type it in your vanity.
The hoaxdemic has everyone on edge
Just your info, password, etc are compromised. Site insecure. But it’s solved so no worries.
Better to use the secure encrypted connection 'https', not 'http', and accept the certificate within your browser to continue to use the expired certificate.
> Yes, your computer has been infected with the Chinese virus.
Wash your keyboard!
Do NOT touch your monitor!
FWIW, The warning is nothing new.
I think it comes mostly from my browser, Chrome, and the path I take to get to FR.
I’ve been blocked more times than I can count, all seemingly random.
If you find an alternate path or third party links to FR, you may have a better result.
First laugh of the day for me.
Go to the addres bar and delete the s from “https” and it will work fine.
