I read this article a couple days ago and was apprehensive about about traveling to NJ stores. But I go into a NJ Wawa yesterday with my mask on, and what do I see? One customer in the store — without a mask. To my right, 3 employees huddled close together, one employee without a mask. Another customer enters with a mask. Third customer enters, no mask. NJ is not taking their masks seriously.

I would have worn a mask 😷. But it’s patently clear that America is sick — sick and tired of all this dictatorial bull krap restricting their lives and taking away their jobs and businesses and hopes and dreams. There’s gonna be tremendous violence very soon if this Giant Lockdown isn’t ended SOON! We are avoiding any places with lines or restrictions — don’t want to be around when mayhem breaks out. One big grocery tried refusing to sell two cans of beans ( or two of ANYTHING) and without any notice or sign on the door so customers shopped normally , buying usual things in usual amounts - and then were hassled at the checkout. Some customers yelled threats. Some just left their shopping carts and departed. But it sure could have broken out in a riot. ( we just went to the adjacent grocery where there was no harassment of shoppers and thus no threatening atmosphere). These “Stupid” situations can happen anywhere now. Normally they’d be no real danger, most people are reasonable and try to stay calm most of the time. But as stressed as folks are now with all this Lockdown baloney and the incessant 24/7 propaganda /( effectively: incitement) on tv and in the press, and with so many people tossed out of work — we are definitely avoiding crowds and any lines too. Better safe than sorry, imho.

I went to NJ (from Ithaca, NY) to get a used car I had seen online. GPS had gotten me close, but there was an irregularity in the street address. I couldn’t find it.

I was on the street, yet there was no such number. We stopped to eat at a fast food place (don’t recall what one) where sitting in the parking lot was a small business worker (construction maybe) so I figured I’d ask this “local” guy if he knew where “Manny’s” was.

He said sure. He had bought a car from Manny before. He said “you go down here about a mile and turn right at the Wa Wa”.

I thought I had missed something, so I asked him to repeat the directions. Still puzzled, I had to ask him. “what the hell is a Wa Wa?”

The absurd thing about the Gov edict is this...

Where an individual declines to wear a
face covering on the premises due to a medical
condition that inhibits such usage, neither the
business nor its staff shall require the individual
to produce medical documentation verifying the
stated condition;

He could have gotten philosophical and said something like, In a way aren’t we all wearing a mask?

Since the virus can be transmitted into the body thru the eyes, what’s the point of a mask unless you’re wearing air tight goggles?

Wow. This WAWA is five minutes up the road from the hospital I work in. Well, they did have to go very far to put him in the hoosecow. The Ocean County jail is right there in downtown Toms River.
