Former Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones erupted in response to reports that President Donald Trump’s name will appear on millions of Americans’ coronavirus relief checks by suggesting that his name also be printed on the death certificates of those who died from the illness.
“Like what is wrong with us how dont we see the narcissistic behavior of this clown? We need put his name on all the death certificates from this pandemic too!! What the fuck?!” Jones said on Twitter Friday morning.
The Washington Post reported Tuesday that some of the delivery of the checks were delayed by a “few days” due to President Trump’s insistance of having his name placed on them. However, in a statement, a Treasury Department spokeswoman, however, denied that the checks were delayed.
“Economic Impact Payment checks are scheduled to go out on time and exactly as planned — there is absolutely no delay whatsoever,” the spokeswoman said.
“In fact, we expect the first checks to be in the mail early next week which is well in advance of when the first checks went out in 2008 and well in advance of initial estimates,” the statement added.
A source with knowledge of the matter told Breitbart News that the attacks directed at President Trump over the checks are par for the course and should be dismissed as nothing more than fake news.

Here’s a novel idea: how about we find some honest doctors and coroners and list the true cause of death on these death certificates: old age, pneumonia, general organ failure, cancer, whatever.
The insane practice of counting everyone who dies WITH Covid-19 as a death BY Covid-19, is what has driven this Democrat-made crisis. Tens of thousands of these deaths were 90-plus-year-olds already in hospice awaiting death when they contracted the virus.
If they were exposed to poison ivy prior to passing, would that be listed as cause of death? Of course not, but that is exactly what they are doing with Covid-19.
And patronizing bureaucrats like Birx and Fauci are defending and encouraging this non-standard approach to assigning cause of death - because they believe the public needs to be scared into complying with social distancing guidelines.
If this virus was being reported honestly, Covid19 mortality would be a small fraction of the seasonal flu deaths we take in stride each year - and it is NOT due to “mitigation” - it is because it was never that big a deal in the first place, not in the USA.
Unfortunately, people are easy to scare and the Democrats never let a crisis go to waste - even a fake one.
And before someone lectures me about the fact that Covid-19 is real and that thousands of people are tragically dying from it - I know that. Or that hospitals in Italy were overrun - I know. But sadly, hundreds of thousands of people die of auto accidents, seasonal flu, and many other causes - and we don’t bring life to a screeching halt to stop it.
Think about it... if we stopped driving automobiles we would absolutely save hundreds of thousand lives a year, and everyone knows it.. but we don’t do it.... hmmm.
Why did we do it for this virus at this time? That’s the question we should be asking.

If you stopped driving automobiles, thousands of people would die from failing to reach the hospital on time in ambulances, from burning to death in houses that fire engines would not reach on time, in home invasions that the police would not arrive on time to stop, and from wars that would be decided in favor of the army that disregarded all the environmental blather and remained mechanized.
