It's been a couple of weeks since I put a 70's song out here.
FR needs a *LOVE* Button! Thanks! :)
It amazes me how many GREAT songs are out there, and how many I randomly sing each day. I need to write down the first one I ‘hear’ each morning and make myself a mixed tape! ;)
Go All The Way is the best Raspberries song.
Gotta love the Raspberries!
If I’m not mistaken, at one time John Lennon cited The Raspberries as his favorite band.
Lead singer Eric Carmen also performed “Sunrise”. One of my favorites. The hottest years for the Raspberries was in ‘72 and ‘73. I sometimes get them mixed up with the group
Badfinger.
I follow Eric Carmen on Twitter. He’s a conservative and a big supporter of Trump.
After Eric Carmen got his plastic surgery, he looks like Micky Rourke’s sister.
My first concert that I saw was the Raspberries. Brownsville Station (Smoking in the Boys Room ) was the opening act. Convention Center, Ocean City MD. Dad drove me and a couple of siblings and dropped us off. Great memory!
The one you think was great enough as it fades out...then comes back around for a big finish.
For streaming music from 1963-’68 from mostly “also-ran” groups, not the big names. Beyond the Beat Generation website.

Definitely.
