I’m conflicted on the pictures, because you just know there are jackass types out there that would love to track this down and shoot it.

We lived in SE Alaska for 25 years where you see bald eagles every day. I once counted 107 of them at the city dump.
Another time while anchored in a remote cove, we observed about 20 of them playing tug of war with a huge octopus that was stranded in a tide pool.
We had a waterfront cabin and saw a river otter surface with a small halibut in his mouth only to have it stolen by a bald eagle after smacking the otter.
When duck hunting on saltwater, we had to pick up the floaters pretty quick otherwise the eagles or sea lions would grab them.

Wow that second photo looks like mama eagle is eyeing that drone pretty closely!

I saw my first bald eagle (not counting zoos) while walking my dog in Council Bluffs, IA back in 2012 I believe.

It was an adult with what I think was a teenager eagle as the second one did not have all white feather on its head.
