If the Demoncrats want to play games with the Trump administration, then all of Congress should not receive paychecks until the American People are back to work.

I didn't do anything to deserve not having money come into my household, but I still have bills to pay and need money to buy food / AND FACE MASKS / if they can be found...probably in the toilet paper isle.
A good portion of them do not deserve oxygen.

It would take an act of Congress to stop their pay. Right now they are on vacation. Not gonna happen.

Not only do we taxpayers pay them salaries for doing nothing——we also pay for their day-to day living expenses.
......while we struggle to pay our own bills........
The legend is once they get into Congress, they connive to NEVER EVER spend a penny of their salaries.
Their day-to-day living expanses are all billed to the taxpayers in one way or another.
AND all they can steal.

However, I would modify this plan. If the particular State opens up for work, the Congress critters from that State can get paid.
We don’t want to penalize the States where the economy has opened up.
Let peer pressure add another incentive.
I do think we’ll soon see protest like they had in Michigan very soon across many States.

Meanwhile, our amazing President is out there working & fighting for all Americans, and donating his entire Presidential salary from the start.

The Congress should be banned from setting their own pay scales because there is a conflict of interest that they cannot avoid.
This Congress in particular should not be given a pay raise until our country gets economy going upward.
The Rat party has been an impediment to improving this economy by obstructing this President in everything he does.

Many of these Congress Critters should be paying us for living in the homes we provide them, the ‘vacations and ‘free time’ they take (traveling to parts unknown), thereby spending no time in DC working FOR US).
When a home freezer has a Sub Zero logo on its surface, and filled with high dollar ‘chic’ ice cream, while the non-elites are fortunate to even pay their electric bills, the time has come to DEMAND and expect CHANGE.
Governors, state reps and senators, this applies to YOU as well.
Speaking of salaries...
A lot of the pols supporting the shutdowns are the same people who scream bloody murder at the prospect of a Fedzilla shutdown. Even though Fedzilla never really shuts down.
And the enemedia does story after story on furloughed federal workers who are about to be thrown in the street, left to eat catfood.
Where are all the enemedia stories on the millions of Americans thrown out of work, the biz owners about to go bust?
Why is shutting down Fedzilla an atrocity, but doing far worse to the private sector a good thing? Why do public sector workers matter more than private sectors workers?
Neither should teachers, if they are not teaching. THAT would force reopening.
