Mexico reaches 5,399 cases of COVID-19, with 406 deaths

José Luis Alomía, general director of Epidemiology, reported in the daily report on the coronavirus that deaths in our country reached 406, while the number of those infected with COVID-19 rose to 5,399.
He added that there are 90 deaths in the category of suspects, that is, that it is not yet ruled out if they suffered from COVID-19.
At the close of this Tuesday, the national rate of confirmed cases is 4.22 per 100,000 inhabitants.
The states that lead the incidence rate of infections are Mexico City, Quintana Roo, Baja California and Baja California Sur.
Currently, CDMX leads the incidence rate of infections with a total of confirmed cases of COVID-19 of 1,556.
As of Monday, the Ministry of Health had confirmed 5,114 cases, 332 deaths and more than 9,000 suspected cases of coronavirus.
