Boredom is hell.
Why the fellow with the revolvers never have to reload?
When I was in college, I would love to have been able to do a recital from my home studio, so I wouldn’t have to shake hands with all those assholes.
Despite Independence day being 2 1/2 months away, I was listening to the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky the other day. I love when those cannons go off.
Boredom often results in inventive solutions, and new discoveries.
I don’t know that much about guns, myself. Maybe you could contact mozART, and give them some advice.
My firepit, beer, and listening to birds sing works for me.
I like the cannons, too. But I much prefer the musical expertise that goes before.
Victor Borge used to perform an act with a similar theme.
I never did get to see him live. He always seemed to be having a good time too.
I’m drinking wine, tonight; but birdsong IS my favorite music.
My favorites are the Wood Thrush (that one sounds sort of like a UFO landing):

And the white-throated sparrow (though the ones we have here sound different from this):

I most love the sounds of the Canada Geese flying over in Fall and Spring - we heard two flocks go past, today.
I absolutely love Victor Borge.
We don’t seem to have many people like him, anymore.
Nice!

Your about page does not say where you are.
I do not have those birds here in Georgia.
The only birds I don’t like are crows.
Hummingbirds are just starting to come back.
I’m in Maryland, just North of DC. The Wood Thrush likes wooded areas around water. It’s a very shy bird - you usually only hear it, and don’t see it. Here’s a map of its range:

Here’s the range map of the White Throated Sparrow:

Like humans, birds can have different ‘dialects’. The sparrow in your location may not sound exactly as the one in mine does.
That was fun and interesting - would be even better to see live. Not only music, but comedy and a kind of narrative story-telling
I’m glad that you liked it.
We’re all going a little ‘stir-crazy’ looking at our own four walls; and distraction is a good thing.
*BUMP* for morning coffee and birdsong! :)
Pretty interesting. I always thought this was the best thing Mozart ever written, just by the melody alone...he’s drunk, can barely stand, he gets worse and worse, his life is in shambles and just when he reaches rock bottom he is saved by Christ and the Glory of God. A human being did not write this. This was issued to Mozart by God almighty...

If you want peaceful, try the Requiems. Seriously. Very celestial.
When I paint or sculpt, it’s opera...something about it just
brings out the creativity.
