Because ship to ship the implementation vary even in the same cruise line. That’s because humans are involved. But on most ships they do a very very good job of keeping surfaces and hands clean.

The number of noro outbreaks annually suggest otherwise.

FWIW, I don’t stay in huge hotels, either. Or attend massive events. So I’m not just ragging on cruise ships.

You go on a cruise, expect to get sick. Cruise lines have been hiding this.
