I know people who have a travel agency and are concerned they could go out of business this year.

I'm not going to help you give the bi-blog a click, but isn't a "travel agency" just a desk, a chair and a phone? Even Frank Costanza could do it.

Like many businesses that might be all it is to some travel agents ,but to others is more complicated

Especially if you get involved with commercial travelers where things change quickly, and rebooking planes and hotels and locations have to be redone.-Tom

I’m surprised that travel agencies are still around. My friend worked for one in CA. and they closed up shop a few years ago. Too many people are able to do their own bookings. We haven’t used an agent in many years as I’ve gotten quite good at booking all of our travel. You just need to invest some time. We’re not into group tours or riding buses so it is a little easier. We like to travel at our own pace.
