Isn’t sales tax charged on most “non essential” items? Has any of these bureaucratic dimbulbs considered the loss in tax revenue? Sure they did, just an excuse to raise sales, income and property taxes.

I don't think she SPECIFICALLY banned flags, but banned the sale of most "nonessential" non-food items. I think the governor of Vermont did the same.

Big-box stores were ordered to close-off sections of the store where items other than food are sold, or even to remove those items entirely.

The claim that the governor specifically banned American flags is sensationalist and misleading. And I'm not defending the governor, just trying to get it straight.
