I was unfriended on Facebook by a friend’s wife. She is a nurse and scared chitless over this thing. No, she’s not seeing a lot of victims since she works in my area where there are only a couple of people that tested positive. But still.
She was being pummelled by my friends from here in rural KY as well as in Washington state, Phoenix, Wyoming and California. She actually said that when she goes to wal-mart she reprimands people who get too close to her.
She’s also 50ish and is at least 400 lbs.
My friend is with a hard-core, “chip on the shoulder” feminist that kinda reminds me of the woman at the meat packing plant in the beginning of Boondock Saints, only bigger.

The reason it was so easy to set off this panic is that most Americans just don’t believe in God anymore. You can’t control what happens to you but you can control your reaction to it, and this was the action of a milling, fear-filled herd that has put the government in the place of God.
So Happy Easter to all, and the Lord will triumph. And, frankly, our national “recovery” depends on us believing this and working for it.
