Is Africa trying to get a “bingo” on every plague known to man? Starvation, disease, drought, war, and now swarms of locusts ... Sounds Biblical to me.
Drove through a swarm like that several years ago in eastern Nevada and into Utah.
They make a MESS of the windshield, gummy and hard to clean off without HOT soapy water.
They fly fast enough and weigh just enough to sting when they hit you.
Funny, but they do not seem to eradicate the invasive weeds, just crops.
Waiting for the blood rivers and raining frogs. Then perhaps it will be SMOD time.
