We're told this social distancing won't reduce the total number infected, just spread them out over time so medical facilities aren't overwhelmed. Are Swedish facilities overwhelmed?
You’re not really going to be able to judge this until the outbreak is over. Sweden’s strategy is intended to shorten the overall outbreak within their borders. Lockdowns trade-off a lower peak with a much longer duration. As long as your healthcare sector doesn’t collapse (a big ‘if’).
