About 95 percent of the US is currently on some form of lockdown after President Donald Trump issued guidelines that called for 30 days of measures to slow the spread of the virus.
The government projections, obtained by the New York Times, indicate that lifting the strict social distancing measures now in place will see a second wave surge in infections and deaths in about June and July.

Just 5 days ago these 2 ASHATS stood at that damn podium and told the nation that WITH the mitigation in place that 100,000 - 200,000 would die a HUGE surge would hit by April 12, I don’t believe a damn word these two bureaucrats have to say!! I cannot believe more FReepers are not concerned about Trump’s inaction on this. I caught Hell yesterday for daring to criticize Trump’s coronavirus task force pressers. They are an abject joke! As I said, he comes out, makes positive comments about our progress, then leaves the presser, and leaves the floor to Fauci and Birx to contradict everything he said! He then praises them the next day for their work! I do not fu*king understand what Trump is doing here!

Look at the table in the article under the Ventilator graph. The Parameters used to come up with the numbers are literally “Best Guess,” and yes they do use quotes. I guess somewhere between 300 million and 2 people will die from this in the US, where do I get my government job for life?

I bet these experts would reverse thrusters real fast if we had a rule that said ‘no federal election during a pandemic.’ If they had to choose between Trump getting free second and third terms, with no election until the virus passes or a vaccine is developed, I guarantee the press would report covid19 eradicated tomorrow and the Democrats would agree it’s over.
The new catchphrase that we’re hearing from some on the left is “12-18 months”. Watch for that to gain traction in the next few weeks. They’re moving the goal posts big time for their own nefarious ends, and we know what those are. We’re in for some incredible hurt if the adults in power don’t step in and put a stop to this madness.
