I don't buy it.
Sounds like the Fictitious horror stories coming from the Superdome in New Orleans
i live here.
Know a lot of folks.
Don’t believe it.
FAKE NEWS !!!
Whether they had CV or not, who knows. The DM certainly is just guessing for headlines sake.
I don't buy it.
Funny I don't see stories like this about the other 56 states : ) but if this is true for New York, which I doubt because the story is in the Daily Fail, why on Earth would any body want a failure like Cuomo for President? He can't even take care of a small state like New York without keeping a loser Mayor like Wilhem in line and not allowing him to have residents die at a unbelievable rate.
Mass graves? Like in a pit?
“I don’t buy it.”
I would have to see a lot more evidence before I believed it. This sounds like the fake news Katrina email that went around about bodies hanging in trees and the like.
The Daily Mail now reveals that the British actually won the American Revolution.
me neither. trying to substantiate a longer, crushing shutdown. just like the ‘a second wave’ is coming crowd.
Like you, there is too much missing from thios tale to be believable...
There are likely hundreds of bodies in NYC homes every day. There is a wellness check squad in every NYC precinct that goes around and collects bodies from apartments. It is common for people to die in their sleep, and people find out because they don’t show up somewhere they normally do. Or they start to smell over time. In a city of 10+ million like New York, it can be a hundred in a day easily.
That being said, the issue is more acute now. People are in their homes more now. And people are not showing up anywhere now. So they may be dead longer now. It would not be easy to figure out how someone died if they are not found for 2 or 3 weeks.
This virus’ fatality rate cannot be just figured just by the number of dead versus last year. We have locked down people. So the car accidents are lower. The stress is higher. Depression and suicide may grow. Alcoholism may grow. But flu may not spread like it did. So there are lots of compounding factors going on. You can’t just say surplus deaths are caused by the virus. You might be able to say that deaths are caused by the virus and the response without figuring out how many are caused by one and not the other.
